G1 Internship

In our G1, or “God 1st” internship program, you will be trained in Biblical studies and have the opportunity to experience ministry “first hand.” In G1 you are not looked at as a volunteer, but a vital part and member of The Family Church’s staff and are “key” to the daily operations and function of church life!

G1 is a two-year program in which you will be actively engaged in Bible studies, discipline, mentorship, and accountability. It’s about setting apart this time to seek God for your life and place him first in every area.

First Year Interns
The first year is about facilitating an environment for the intern to see the reality of ministry from a holistic perspective. Interns will learn the value of flexibility in the context of serving the vision of the church. First year interns will be exposed to environments that will build character, teamwork, work ethic, and life skills needed for longevity in ministry. Interns will also build a strong Biblical foundation.

Second Year Interns
The second year is designed to develop the intern as a leader, discipler, and mentor. Interns will serve in a specific ministry throughout the entire year, in order to fine-tune their natural skills, spiritual gifts, and abilities. They will have the opportunity to serve in an area related to their passion and calling.
