Pastor John and his wife, Terry, have been in ministry for over 25 years. They are the Lead Pastors of The Family Church located in McAllen, Texas, where their passion is building families and serving people. The Brady’s have three grown children – one in college, one in the military, and one serving with them on staff at TFC. When not dreaming of chocolate or crossing his fingers for a Longhorn win, Pastor John’s desire is for people to experience the life giving power of God that can transform every part of their lives. And as a church, to reach out to the broken, lost and hurting while following the heart of God. Pastor John and Ms Terry enjoy laughing together and spending time with their grown children while continually pouring out their hearts and casting vision for The Family Church. ……………………………………………………………………………………
Nathan and Star are passionate about connecting with a loving God and leading our congregation into His presence. They desire to see everyone at TFC connecting personally with God through passionate worship. The Funk’s are also parents to three beautiful children. Down to earth and fun-loving this “Funky Bunch” enjoy frequenting the beach and never fail to stock up on chocolate and ice cream for some serious down time at home. ……………………………………………………………………………………
Alan and Ruth have a heart to see children come to know God in a real and active way. They realize the importance of age-appropriate ministry and raising their three children has given them plenty of practice on the home front! When not thinking up new creative ideas for children’s ministry, they enjoy family time and keeping up with the latest kid’s fads! ……………………………………………………………………………………
Enrique and Val are passionate to see people fulfill their God-given destinies and live out their purpose in life. Although right now they also dream about kid-free date nights amidst the hectic schedule that comes alongside three young children. During soccer season, Enrique enjoys catching a Monterrey Rayados game on TV. While Val is content to sit back with just about anything containing chocolate and peanut butter. ……………………………………………………………………………………
Denee has the energy and passion to see young lives sold out and living for God in a REAL way! After some time as a missionary in Thailand she has grown to realize the real needs that each of us has in our hearts and is excited to help jump-start the desire for Christ in the lives of our teens. Caro loves multi-colored post-it notes! She helps keep everyone in student ministries organized and on schedule from 7 different calendars. At home, Caro enjoys spending time with Nene, her chihuahua, reading and blogging. Her hobby’s include people photography and discovering unique musical talents such as John Foreman and Brooke Fraiser. ……………………………………………………………………………………
Obed and Steph feel privileged to work with such a great group of Media volunteers that keep our services running smoothly and make it possible to take TFC world-wide through live streaming every Sunday. When not creating videos, graphics, and training tech teams, Obed and Steph enjoy parenting their two Boxers whom they love taking to the beach and going for walks in the park. As the new Director of Serve Teams, Inez loves to organize and help with projects. She is passionate about prayer and seeing people grow spiritually. Gardening, reading and spending time with her husband or any one of their seven children is her ideal way to relax outside of work. ……………………………………………………………………………………
Ana is committed to making sure that the tithes and offerings to TFC are used in ways that help establish the Lord’s vision for our church. Her alone time with God is vital to her and she finds Him in nature and by her side in all of her daily tasks. Lydia is a pastor’s kid and she is proud of it! She is passionate about seeing lives changed and transformed by the power of Christ and when she’s not answering the phones at TFC, working out details on different projects and keeping the office organized she loves to spend time with her husband and children (and their friends!) and being followed around by her human-poodle “Kiara.” You’ll never see her without a smile. ……………………………………………………………………………………
Noelia is our newest member on staff here at TFC, she is currently working on her Criminal Justice degree at STC while working full-time – she’s amazing! Noe is a native Texan, but recently moved back to Texas from California. Rita has been attending TFC for almost 18yrs and working at TFC for 12 years. She has a great sense of humor and enjoys her job making sure the facility is clean for each service. In her spare time Rita loves to scrapbook and spend time with her husband, Bruce, their 2 sons, 7 grandkids, and new Boxer puppy “Bo.” …………………………………………………………………………………… Mayra, Maintenance Mayra recently joined our maintenance staff at TFC. |
