Life Center

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” Matt. 25:35-36

MISSION: To feed, clothe, and minister to the people of McAllen and the surrounding areas and bring healing to them both physically and spiritually.

The Life Center is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday from 9:00am to 12:00noon and offers:

• Clothing – Distributed during the above days and is free to those in need.
• Food – Distributed during the above days and is free to those in need.
• Addiction Counseling – Counseling is available for all types of additions and is not limited to substance abuse.
• Anger Management – Our counselors hold sessions by appointment only. Note that a fee of $95.00 may be applied if you have been court ordered.
• Celebrate Recovery – This is a place for those who are struggling with addictions and need support and encouragement to be able to fight the good fight of faith. We meet on Fridays from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Childcare is provided starting at 7:00 pm.
• Parents Helping Parents – Focuses on teaching and giving tools to build your skills in managing your home, raising children, and the art of communication, proper discipline, and family nutrition.

Classes are for parents of 0-3 year olds, teens, and for teenage parents. Classes are held Mondays from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
